Leap Interactor is a Safari Extension to add Leap Motion Features to bay Website visited with Safari Webbrowser, while its an Extension, you should already have Extensions enabled is Safari to use this, also plaza ensure, in the Leap Settings in the Tracking Pref Pane , the „Web Apps“ are enabled...



Once installed, the Interactor Extension (further just called LeIn) brings you the following Gestures and Navigation Things:

To visually show the Tracking of your Fingertips, it gives you the Choice of 5 Tracking Modes:



The Rear Mirror Mode: It shows a Rear Mirror at the bottom right hand of the Browser to show you your Fingertips moving around

Full Screen Mode: This Tracker draws a full Hand on the screen with moving Fingers in position and angles together with the  Hand Palm



Glass Mode: This simply hides the Tracker to reveal full Page visibility

Sceleton Hand Mode: This draws a Spider like Hand on the Page with your Palm and Fingertips and connects the fingers with your Hand, it also Highlights the Thumb if possible, it just makes the Connection Line Bolder

Trail Mode: This Mode draws Finger Tips Only with a Trail Effect to indicate there was a movement and in which direction




This Extension also brings a lot of Gestures:

1 Finger Navigation with Swipes laft/right to go back and forth in History
3 Finger Swipe Up to open a new Tab
3 finger Swipe Down to close the current tab

1 Finger Circular Gesture, direction is obsolete to reload a Page, medium Radius required

3 Finger Circular Gesture to access iOS 7 Inspired Tab Switcher, Direction is obsolete, medium Radius required

A Pinch Gesture to Zoom Page in and out:

This Gesture requires a Thumb, once seen, a green Progress Bar appears at the left side of the Page, the Bar needs to drop below 30% to trigger a Pinch and a Thumb must be active as well, the Pinch can be triggered only every 2 seconds to hav ethe time to move your hand away once triggered the first time to read the Page, a retrigger the Pinch zooms out again, the Level can be set in Preferences

Once a Zoom is active you can either retrigger the Pinch to zoom back out or simply hit the space bar to return to previous level
5 Finger Hover Hand to scroll, place your Hand in the middle of the screen and hold your 5 Fingers up or down to scroll slowly, hold the higher or deeper to scroll faster, move your Thumb out of sight to stop scrolling immediately, spread it away to continue scrolling.
The Hover Scroll works also for horizontal Scrolling as well, e.g. If you zoom in you can scroll all directions with just hovering you Hand in the desired Direction, hold it up and left to scroll vertically to the top

Keytap gesture, is Holding your Hand and move your Pointing Finger down like if you would like to touch something or kick it with your Fingers, this will scroll to top

In the Preferences there is a Help Button, click it to get this Helü again and further Infos and Images of Gestures to see and how the Tab Switcher works, it brings own Keyboard and Leap Gestures  for itself, plaza read the Help Files to see how it looks and how it works
